Adriana Dama awarded the title of Maestra Artigiana by the Puglia Region

A new and prestigious recognition enriches the professional path of Adriana Dama: the Puglia Region has given her the title of “Maestra Artigiana”, a certificate that rewards excellence, passion and dedication in the tailoring sector and in the creation of accessories and clothing.

Adriana Dama, owner of the Dama Atelier, represents a point of reference for local crafts, thanks to its ability to combine tradition and innovation in the tailoring and in the packaging of unique garments.

“Thanks to the Economic Development Department of the Puglia Region, I was conferred on the title of “Maestra Artigiana”, recognized to the subjects who are the owners or have been the owners of artisan enterprises. Being able to transfer the passion for a noble art to the new generations is always a great honor.”

This recognition, attributed pursuant to the regional law 19 June 2018 n. 26, art. 5, is assigned to those who distinguish themselves by competence, experience and ability to pass on craftsmen, fundamental elements for the enhancement of the cultural and productive heritage of Puglia.

The official ceremony, sanctioned by the regional provision of 19 July 2024, represents not only a personal goal for Adriana Dama, but also a tangible sign of the importance that the Puglia Region attributes to the protection and transmission of manual arts and local traditions.
