Fashion, as we know, is made of historical courses and recurrences, in a continuous flow of aesthetic references rooted in the past and looking to the future. In recent collections the most important fashion houses have revisited the skirt suit with a timeless flavour, with fitted or oversize jackets and skirts in different lengths, from knee to ankle. A revival of the 1950s contaminated the catwalks. The skirt suit is back, the trend with composed elegance that has its roots in the 1950s. A timeless outfit is my delightful, warm and sophisticated suit with short jacket, tailored in a creamy white wool and viscose fabric. Short trapeze dress with sequins – Bespoke
Straight from the 1960s to the present day, the trapeze dress is back in fashion; it is a simple garment, reduced to the essentials, which allows the figure to be slender thanks to the shorter hemline and the waistline that is not marked, leaving the curves of the body undefined. That is why it is the dress that suits everyone.
Once again it was Yves Saint Laurent who revolutionised fashion; in 1958, he created the Trapeze line. The success was immediate: women were looking for lightness and simplicity, after the metres of fabric protagonists of the 1950s. The collection was received with a standing ovation, literally changing the trends of the time and making a profound mark on the 1960s.
What is new is that for designers, the trapeze dress of sequins and the like can also be worn in daylight.
A fashion trend already announced by the New York shows, sequins will also dominate fashion in the coming seasons.
My trapeze dress is made of a wool blend with sequins and lined with silk taffeta fabric, entirely made and finished by hand.

Wool suit – Bespoke
Sober and elegant, this pure new wool suit is part of a small capsule of mine which I wanted to call 'Noir et blanc”, a 'journey' from white to black, through the many shades of grey, to represent the prêt - à -porter realised and proposed for the invernale season.
The wool suit is inspired by the creativity of the great French and Italian craftsmanship tailoring of the 1950s, with a jacket tight on the hips and a pencil skirt.
Several are the combinations of matching shoes for an outfit always pleasant and personal.
High heels to slender the figure and give an immediate sense of elegance; sneakers, not an easy match, but a winning one if studied in the right way; high boots or cuissards are a great winter classic, and one of the easiest looks to replicate, for a more refined mood prefer total black; finally, amphibians for combat boots lovers.

In the 1920s, French fashion designer Coco Chanel made her triumphant entrance onto the fashion scene. With a rebellious spirit and an eye for change, Chanel decided it was time to shake things up and did so with the Trouser Tailleur.
Chanel understood that women needed clothes that could cope with their increasing independence and participation in social activities. Giorgio Armani had also understood the revolutionary change. In the 1980s (a time of social change) he emphasised the importance of proposing clothing that was both elegant and functional and redefined the concept of the women's trouser suit, conveying a message of emancipation, class and sophistication.
The history of the pantsuit teaches us that fashion is a way of communicating, expressing ideas and changing the world. Innovation in trouser suits has embraced the idea of customisation, allowing women to tailor the garment to their own taste and lifestyle. Punctually, as in every season, the trouser suit will be the absolute star of the wardrobe. Matching jacket and trousers are a big trend of the last few seasons, and for those coming up, too, it is a trend that is bound to get noticed.

There are countless variations on the theme that have allowed the white shirt to become an essential garment, a passe-partout that goes with everything. In multiple outfits, we realise that the shirt is no longer one and only one, starched and impeccably tailored, it is constantly transformed: casual with a pair of jeans or a short, blinged-out skirt, minimal with a tube skirt and out of the box when worn as a cover-up. Gianfranco Ferrè claimed that 'more than one outfit can revolve around the simplicity of a white shirt'. There is also the propensity for androgyny, one of the most iconic looks with the white shirt, when combined with a man's tie; slung over the shoulders, in the manner of Marlene Dietrich, or knotted at the collar to tighten the collar, a habit exhibited in Madonna's youth.
